I was a major Tower Records head, circa 1988 to 2006. For me and probably millions of others, Tower's Pulse Magazine's interviews, articles, and readers' submitted Desert Island Discs were a pre-internet education that will last an entire lifetime.

Sports and music have always blended well to me. During those Tower years, a great Saturday would most definitely include a late morning trip to Tower then heading home to catch the legendary Keith Jackson narrate an afternoon of college football. What's better than a Fall Saturday? Not many things.
